The Cities: They will no longer be a place like what I see now.
I was thinking about the city environment
this morning, where all the land has value for revenue.
Where the pressure of living forces
the community to use the land to build some type of commodity.
We know it as a place where the
land as just land is a no value to the city as a whole.
Where the only way to keep it clear
is to declare it a park or some national institution.
Where the only barrier keeping
man from paving it is water, weather or the mountains.
I am preparing my mind for a shock
when I see it.
I am preparing my mind to see bumper-to-bumper
traffic, roads, buildings and malls.
It will no longer be a place like
what I see now.
It will be the world covered with
plastic appliances, pavement and concrete.
The Cities: They will no longer be a place like what I see now.
