The Opening Session, beginning at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 16th, will feature Mr. Bill Austin who is now our National Vice President as the Key Note Speaker. He will be joined on the program by Mr. Joe Beaudoin, our newly elected Region X National Field Vice President Come and hear their presentations on the current status and future direction of NARFE.

Closing Activities

Forms will be available at your local chapter for convention registration, banquet, and breakfast and must be returned by April 15, 2007 with checks to the address on the forms. Registration will begin at 10:00 AM on May 16th. Motel room reservation by members must be made by May 1st and can be made by calling: 1-800-628-1558   or   502-582-2241.
The rate of $90.85 single/double includes tax. Please mention room reservation is for KY NARFE. Check-in is 3:00 PM. See map.

Chapters are also asked to provide the usual outstanding responses tor donations for the Silent Auction and Door Prizes. A separate letter from Mr Bill Bassett will follow with instructions on prizes or a check for $25.00. Please contact him as soon as possible but no later than April 30th.
In addition, chapters are asked to sponsor program book ads within guide lines at enclosure to this letter by April 7th.

Please encourage your members to attend this year's convention. We want to build on past successes making Kentucky an effective and efficient organization utilizing all available capabilities that our membership possesses. Remember, our future must be our focus today.
