Social Pressure
How can it be?
For some strange reason Laurel and I are being placed in the back of the bus.
Religion is forcing its way into our lives.
We live in a Christian community and people are quietly moving us to the back of the bus.
It has been subtle.
It has moved to the point where we do not want to be around friends or relatives because of the subtle changes.
We are thinking of skipping birthdays and just living our own life in peace.
Our life is peaceful but the world around us demands the subtle change of influence that forces us to the back of the bus.
Laurel is almost to the point of anger.
The world here is peaceful.
The green stems bring nourishment from the earth to the red, lavender and yellow flowers.
