I just saw a ninety year old woman who had planned all her life to go to heaven. She had a course set early in life by the way she was brought up. All vocal and material thought that went to her brain was the image of heaven as the place to be after death. The world surrounding her had placed that image into her life and brain. And there it has been for over ninety years.
When and what part of the evolution of society did we decide to provide an image and place to go after death?
I think it was the product of the painted walls of the caves and family stories told each generation around the camp fire.
Each cave and campfire brought warmth into the lives of human beings sitting around the light of the fire.
