Raising and Lowering Our Level of Awareness

Sylvia and Joanie opened my eyes and my mind at Tolstoy Farm in 1967.
Who is responsible for raising our level of awareness? Who raised our level of awareness? What is awareness?
I looked and found some reassurance in the dictionary. I asked a question and I found
an answer that reinforced what I had already learned/knew. This is what I found.
