Awake

I awake to a new day.
I see the day.
This day is the start of a new year, a calculated date, a new beginning, and
an evolving solution for the recording of time.
The beginnings of a new year, our fresh start, the new step into our new frontier.
Today we place our foot on the earth for the very first time in this new period of time.
Today we celebrate this beginning.
We vow to renew our being.
