“Social Security” sounds like words that could fit snugly in our preamble to the constitution. They could be placed just behind,” promote the general Welfare”. But as I look at the preamble and try to understand what it means I see that “social security” and “promote the general welfare” might as well be synonyms. And this bothers me about our government today if our government is “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility” then how come my daughter is hassled because she does not have health insurance. Where is “promote the general Welfare” in our society? Things need to be changed in our bureaucracy of “we the people” we need a president that walks with the people not out in front of the people and a congress that builds hospitals as well as roads for all the people. Those roads are free to travel on and so shall be our hospitals just as our constitution says.
