The day is amazingly lush and green.
It is cool and overcast; the clouds are lingering just
above our heads. Water is just about to drip off the green leaves of our
Dogwoods and Lilies. I hear the bell of a tractor backing up and the chorus
of birds in the trees.
Why is it so peaceful here?
Why am I missing the annoyance of the city?
I moved my body in 1968 to a place more peaceful than
the hustle of the city.
I live in this city of only 3000 human beings.
Being 100 feet to our neighbor is far to close and is
definitely living in town.
On the norm most folks have to look across a field to
see their neighbor.
